Black and White Sunday | Your turning into a right geek mum!

Sunday's they are made for lie in's, right? Well, this Sunday was no exception. A tradition in this household is Lottie comes through to my bedroom at around 8am, jumps onto my bed and has a sleep until I get up at around 9am.Well this Sunday followed the same routine as normal, expect Lottie was perhaps more comfy than usual as she conveniently used one of my teddies as a pillow. Honestly I'm sure she think she is human sometimes!

We had a lovely Sunday dinner at Nana's followed by a sit out in the garden. It's been lovely today here.

When we arrived home Lottie was determined to get me to play with her. I unfortunately was distracted with Uni work, she didn't let me get one for long though. First she sat in her toy box as if to say "Maybe if I sit in it she will think I'm so cute she will just have to play with me". When that didn't work she emptied the entire box and sat inside it performing tricks. Maybe she thought I wouldn't be able to resist her then. Her third and final attempt was to pick her favourite toy, known as 'Spacehopper' and carry it around it with her everywhere I went.

I had so much fun watching her trying to get me to play. She won! We had a quick game of fetch before I carried on with my studies.

She seemed quite content once she had played fetch and lay down beside my desk for the rest of the afternoon.

We hope you guys all had a great Sunday too?

Monday's Mischief | Lottie's Birthday Treats.

This weekend would definitely see Lottie get up to some mischief as it was her birthday. On Saturday Lottie was the BIG 3 (Or 21 in human years). In this household her birthdays are a big event and we make sure she has plenty of fuss and new toys/treats.

It certainly lived up to its expectations and she had a great birthday. We had some lovely friends come over and Lottie was more than happy to see them on her birthday.

She had lots of new presents which included a Kong Quest Bone, Shake 'a' Fox, 'Hide A Treat' treat ball, rubber stick and a selection of treats.  I will review them all in an upcoming post so be sure to look out for that.

Here's a message from Lottie:

Hello everybody, I had a pawsome birthday. I got lots of fuss not only from my human but we had more humans over which I loved! They all brought me nice presents and gave me lots of cuddles. Mum says I did spoil myself slightly as I had a bit of a run in with a bird (I did warn them about feeding them in the first place). Mum says the bird was already poorly but once I saw it I finished it off. It's not my fault I was just acting on instinct. I really was very sorry afterwards and me and the humans soon made up. (That sad face works every time!). Thanks to everybody that wished me Happy Birthday on my Facebook page I have such lovely friends.

I was one spoilt doggy!

Come on Mum are we done I just wanna play!

Meet my new friend Mr Fox.

This new treat ball is so much fun.

Look they even wrap my presents!

Monday's Mischief | Watch out there's bird poop about!

Most of my day consists of me been on bird control. Those silly humans in our household decided to not only just feed me, but the birds as well! I am thoroughly disgusted at this. I mean I'm the only one who should get the attention!

To show my disapproval of the situation, I got up to yet more mischief.

Birds poop it's not something I have made up, it's just a fact of life. If any of you furry friends are like me. I love nothing more than rolling in something really smelly. I don't get the chance very often, but boy when I do I make sure I do a really good job.

Mum let me out for my normal morning toilet routine and there it was lying on the ground right within my reach. I just couldn't resist myself and walked right up to it, turned over and rolled around like a silly little puppy , like we do when we get on new grass.

When mum returned to call me back inside, it didn't take her long to notice the big streak of smelly stuff down one side.

Oh no, I think she noticed!

She was very mad, and even mentioned the that dreaded B word. I was taken straight into the bathroom and the water was run. Oh no, what happened next was inevitable, I was given a bath and maybe even worse mum had to use that loud hot thing that drys my fur.

Mum there must be another way!

Please don't tell me I look like a drownded rat!

Just when I thought it was all over, I still need to be dried!

All clean now.

I can't believe I got in to so much trouble for this mischief. I mean if Mum decides to feed the birds she has to face the consequences. It wasn't MY idea to feed them pesty little things that I'm normally making sure don't invade MY garden.

Has anybody else been naughty in the garden this week?

Lottie (And Jessica as she had to help me type this, I really do wish they would make them keys bigger!)

Monday Mischief: Birds Eye View

Right on cue, yet again. Lottie got up to some mischief today. I'm sure she must be psychic and knows about this blog hop.

I have felt a little better today and managed to sit outside in my wheelchair for half an hour for an ice cream. During that time I was able to have Lottie on my knee as she cant hurt my scar whilst I'm in my wheelchair. As most of you will of gathered she was extremely pleased about this.

I was sitting right next to our patio table and the next thing I know she had crept onto the table and
was using it to get a better view of our garden.

Of course I was not impressed and told her to get off (Once I had taken a photo). She knew she had done wrong because she sat beside me for the rest of the time I was outside. Next time I go outside our cuddles will be nowhere our patio table!

Monday's Mischief - Please tell me you didn't need that bag mum?

I'm fairly sure when we had Lottie we should have called her mischief as she seems to be getting up to a lot of it lately.

Earlier today I was lying on the sofa as I cant do much at the moment due to my operation. I could hear rustling in the bedroom and knew straight away Lottie was up to something! I called her but no response. I shouted louder and louder but still nothing. In the end I had to get my mum to go in to see what was happening. Here's the result!

Needless to say she is in my bad books and a yummy treat will definitely be off the cards for tonight. I am just so glad it was only a paper Primark bag she ripped and not something more important! (I didn't let her know that though, I acted as if it was my best pair of shoes).

What it is with dogs and ripping things, Lottie loves tissues and if you leave one even just for a second its shredded more than shredded wheat!

I'm sure Lottie knows about Monday Mischief blog hop as she always seems to do something so I have a post to write about. Maybe she is just trying to take my mind off my painful recovery.
