Product Review : CANIDAE PURE elements dry dog food

CANIDAE kindly contacted us to see if we would like to review some of their dog food products. Of course we both jumped at chance (especially Lottie).

There second variety is the variety we received for review. The Grain Free PURE Dry Dog Food comes in a variety of nutritious formulas—all made with only 7-10 key ingredients. Every recipe features fresh meat or fish first, complimented by whole foods like sweet potatoes, chickpeas, and peas. In addition, every bite of kibble features their unique HealthPLUS Solutions™ with

guaranteed levels of probiotics, antioxidants, and omega 6&3 in every bite. These simple recipes are perfect for dogs with or without food sensitivities.They only use quality ingredients that are thoroughly tested. CANIDAE’s products do not contain any grains, vegetable protein concentrates, starches or pomace, and are free from artificial colours, flavours and preservatives, which is brilliant as I am definitely against giving grain product to dogs they also never uses corn, wheat, soy, antibiotics, hormones, or fillers in its foods. Cooking in small batches enables them to ensure the best nutrition and taste.

They also sent us the puppy variety, which is the same recipe with smaller piece ideal for those little mouths. They do a range of varieties from fresh chicken to fresh wild boar, so there is bound to be something to entice you pooches taste buds

Our Verdict.. 
As Lottie is a Westie I am quite wary about changing her food suddenly as it can upset Lottie skin. although for any dog you should never change there make of food immediately as it can upset their tummy. It is always best to change it gradually over 7 to 10 days. However, I did add a little CANIDAE PURE elements with fresh lamb to her usually food as well as using it for training treats. Needless to say it went down brilliantly. Lottie loved it. She took to it really quickly and even choose to eat it over her normal food. Cheeky monkey! She was just as keen on the puppy variety which also went down a storm. The only bad thing (well not really bad) more of a suggestion is that the bags are not resealable. I do have a food container for Lottie's food but for an owner that hasn't, having a resealable bag would be very handy. We would highly recommended CANIDAE PURE elements dog food, not only does it use the best ingredients, but it is reasonable priced at £12.99 for 1.8kg bag and £59.99 for a 10.8kg bag for the CANIDAE PURE element fresh lamb variety. They also offer a money back gurattenee where if you dog doesn't love it they will give your money back, so whats to lose?
